Up-to-date tutrial on diablo style multiplayer

Up-to-date tutrial on diablo style multiplayer with lasers or rocket instatiation?

Does such a thing exist if so could some one point me in the right direction..

I have been searching for the best solution to instatiate a rocket over the network but nothing seems to work..

Been looking at the tutorials but nothing seems to give an up to date way to do it.

I have tried attaching different script but nothing gets spawned..

Im basically looking for a solid tutorial in c# for a multiplayer top dow shooter. I want to be able to see where other players are shooting and rockets fly about.
Any suggestion would be great
